Introducing...The Red Dragon! At least, that's what the family we bought her from calls her. (She makes a funky roaring noise when the power locks are activated. An easy fix, but they didn't mind.)
Anyway, she's a 2000 Grand Caravan, and we bought her Saturday from a really nice family out in the cities--for well under Blue Book value. Thank You Lord for providing for us! I'm so thankful to have working air conditioning again.
We're not sure if we'll keep her name, or give her a new one. Any suggestions?

Yippy for A/C! For the first seven years of our marriage we drove cars with no A/C and no heat. We also had no kids. Quite an invigorating ride during our northern winters!

Oh that's right...I had forgotten all about your vehicles with no heat. That's a feat!
I'm so glad you got something. Yeah! We had a Ford Explorer once that got the name the "Lobster Truck". Not really sure how that happened. I like the Red Dragon. It seems to fit.
My personal nickname for her will be "Biggity Red!" It's an inside joke with Malhoits related to our rental "vehicle" in the Bahamas.

I like the name too. Maybe Wade could paint some flames on her though. You'd be the coolest mom on the block. :)

Katie...flames, eh? So that's what it would take to make me cool, huh? :) We half considered buying a taxi-cab yellow van, but Wade didn't want to stand out that much...so I don't think he'd go for the flames. :)
