Conversation between the kiddos last night while looking at Christmas lights:
Courtney: Wook at dat! It's Snoopy!
Nathan: Courtney, that's not Snoopy, that's Pooh!
Emily: Nathan, that's not Pooh, that's WINNIE the Pooh!
Abby: Mom, what is Pooh anyway...a PIG?
What are your favorites when it comes to Chrismas lights and decorating for the holidays? Do you like colored, white, blue...garland, wreathes, manger scenes, etc.? Speaking of manger scenes...I want one--but they are so expensive! Keeping my eye out on Craigslist and such...I will be steering clear of anything blow-up, however!
An honest glimpse into the journey of one Christ-follower and her family. Leaving a legacy and hoping it is one that points to God despite mistakes and imperfections!

For God So Loved the World...
I saw this billboard as I was passing through Menomonie after attending a birth today. The magnificent reality struck me...I had just witnessed the miracle of a baby being born, and was reminded of the significance of the Baby that God sent...one Who would grow up and become the Savior of the world. This little baby Jesus became my Savior...and I am forever grateful.
Merry Christmas

Christmas Music Recommendations?
Hey all! Our computer crashed last week so I've been out of commission. Thank you, however, to the kind souls (P&B) who gave us one they weren't using last night. I had been praying about that. What a blessing!
Anyway, just wanted to ask if anyone had any good recommendations for Christmas music? I realized I'm getting a little tired of the 4 CD's I own--and have owned for years. My collection consists of: an Amy Grant, 2 Michael W. Smiths, and a Steven Curtis Chapman. So I'm looking to expand! Would like something from a different style--maybe Jazz or something beyond choral/traditional. What are some of your favorites?
