Was at the pediatrician's office the other day...(yes, I happened to have my camera with me because I needed a picture of Courtney with our wonderful pediatrician--memento for the baby book)...anyway, saw this advertisement in the hallway and got a chuckle out of it! Yes, those bears on the beach...they need this "gift that will last a lifetime." Hehe. Does anybody else find this advertisement funny, or is it just me?

I was just as humored (or maybe embarrassed? :) ) by the spelling of "embarassased."
I'm not sure which is funnier: the ad or the fact that you were brave enough to take a picture of it!
That's too funny! I've taken to carrying my camera with me at all times. You never know when you'll get that great blog picture!
Joey--haha! You're right, I can't believe I didn't catch that. That's even funnier! I also thought the phrase "embarrassed OF him" sounded wrong, too. (Embarrassed BY...?)
I just found a comment you left on my blog back in April...obviously I am not a very responsible blogger! It was a question about which homeschool curriculum I chose. I have actually updated my blog, and named the curriculum (specifically for you).

KJ-
Which pediatricians office did you see this at? I know a bear...
TammyM--thanks!
Naomi, it was in the building that houses Pediatric & Young Adult Medicine (in Hudson, off of Carmichael & Hanley, by Erberts & Gerberts, Aldi, Best Chiropractic, etc.) And for the record, lest anybody think our pediatricians don't know how to spell, it was just in the hallway of the building (which hosts lots of offices)--not actually a part of our pediatrician's office. :)
And Naomi--I almost laughed out loud reading that you've got a bear... :)
That IS funny! I've got a bear too, well thank goodness only on the front. :)
I think I could find a better place for five hundred smackers, believe me.
I love it!!!
