Tonight after supper...
Me: "Hey, how did Courtney get an ice cream bar?"
Kids: "Daddy gave it to her. He does that all the time when you're not here."
Earlier this week I was trying to explain to Richard how frustrating it can be to be unable to finish. a. single. project. around here these days. He truly cannot understand. That's because in order to finish his own projects he gives SJ a bag of Cheetos and a Coke and sets her free in the living room.

Of course he does. That's why daddies are such wonderful heroes. :-) Moms are just ordinary and make us eat our veggies. ;-)
